Abstract
Dr Matt Knight FSAScot, Curator of Prehistory at National Museums Scotland presents “Fragments of the Bronze Age. The destruction and deposition of metalwork in Britain.”, an account of research on the remains of bronze age metal objects, commonly retrieved as hoards. With thanks to Society Fellow Sir Angus Grossart QC OBE DL LLD DLitt FRSE FSAScot for generously supporting the filming of the Society’s 2019-20 lecture programme. Recorded at the National Museums Scotland Auditorium on 9 March 2020 at 6pm by Mallard Productions.
