Abstract
Nothing has been printed on transfer-printed ceramics commissioned by shipping companies using smacks and early steam steamship to trade between Leith in Scotland and London prior to c.1830. In publishing this short paper we hope to encourage any museum or collector with other extant examples, bring them to our attention. George Haggarty can be contacted through NCS.
