Abstract
First records of Dolichomitus tuberculatus (Geoffroy, 1785) and Dolichomitus quercicolus Zwakhals, 2010 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) infestation of beetles (Coleoptera) imagines.Dolichomitus tuberculatus (Geoffroy, 1785) and Dolichomitus quercicolus Zwakhals, 2010 were found ascapable of infesting adults of saproxylic cerambycid beetles in pupal chambers, the black-spotted longhornbeetle Rhagium mordax (DeGeer, 1775) and the tanbark borer Phymatodes testaceus (Linnaeus, 1758)respectively. Parasitism on imagines of Coleoptera by Pimplinae parasitoids was recorded and documentedfor the first time. This demonstrates more plasticity in host usage by the genus Dolichomitus Smith thanhad hitherto been appreciated.
