Abstract
A crucible fragment (SF 99) and two mould fragments for casting a bladed object (possibly a sword) (SF 1468) and a socketed gouge (SF 1713) were recovered during excavations at Guardbridge. Radiocarbon dates confirm a late Bronze Age date for the fragments. This small assemblage is an important addition to the corpus of Bronze Age metalworking evidence from Scotland, particularly the socketed gouge mould, which is only the third known example from this country
