Abstract
Among the most intriguing and informative artefacts from Must Farm are the beads of glass and other precious materials that were found in four of the five main structures (Structures 1, 2 3 and 5) and in the midden outside Structure 5. Overall, the remains of at least 49 glass beads were found, plus two beads of amber, two of shale (one Kimmeridge shale, one probable Kimmeridge shale), one of siltstone, one of faience and one of tin. In addition, a curious,
teardrop-shaped glass lump with a spindly end was found (Figure 7.18).
