Abstract
This workshop forms part of the research initiative Life in the Museum: Curators, Critters, and Other Creators that brings together museum scholars from four universities: Linkà¶ping, Lund, Stockholm, and Umeà¥, and seven disciplines: Ethnology, museology, cultural studies, curatorial studies, archeology, anthropology and artistic research. Our overarching aim is to investigate the multiple actors involved in making museums active living ecologies today: how museum workers, donors and civic society handle death and give birth, fight decay, and shape possible futures
